lionel 6464-725 variations All black New Haven

Has anyone heard of or actually seen an all black car with a black door on it? I purchased 4 cars in a box from an estate sale and this guy was a former collector. No Hagerstown box but it really looks legit. I am unable to find any information that one was produced but I know that Lionel was using old stock for the product line that year and I guess its possible that they ran out of orange doors as well. Opinions?

Doors are relatively easily changed it can be hard to place significance to variations on the door alone.
