i don't know about being from kline but it has an sd70 and maxi stacks and on the sides of the containers it has alot of writings

Don't have the set, but its in fact a K-Line item, 2-11548 to be specific. OGRR magazine did a Collectors Gallery article on the K-Line SD70MAC diesel, off the top of my head don't recall if this set was featured in the article.

Not sure if you are aware, but the Morrison Knudsen Corporation was heavily into the railroad business at one time. There used to be several M-K refurbed GP's with Caterpillar motors that NJTransit used - those things were loud! You can read more about M-K here

It was originally supposed to be made by K-Line for Conrail as a safety award and then they had their "issue" with Lionel and it ended up being "produced" by Lionel.  I have the set and a bunch of the extra cars.  What is kind of cool is that the boxes are the orange Lionel boxes but the labeling on the cars and engine are K-Line.  On the bottom of the engine, I believe K-Line is cast into the bottom of the engine frame.  It only came with a reversing unit and a horn but I had mine upgraded to TMCC with sounds and added a smoke unit.  The K-Line intermodal cars I would argue are still the best ones out there or at least the equivalent of the AtlasO ones but a lot less $$$.  What is really cool is the K-Line spline cars are modular and you can create a really long train with one set of trucks between all of the cars if you have the parts and the patience to put it all together and finagle it onto the track as one unit.
