If its anything like the old BW-80, it should be a winner. A simple, solid performer that set-up is and has been. It's outlasted many a CW-80. I'm not sure how many they're going to sell...kind of steep in my estimation. $279.99 list price...the 180w brick lists for $99.99 normally, so in essence, they're asking $179.99 for a rheostat?? I understand its probable purpose is to up-sell to entry level hobbyist's looking for more power, but still seems a bit much. They should also separately release the rheostat for a reasonable price to allow the thousands of 130w and 180w bricks laying around to be utilized. Joe ~Long Live Lionel~
