OK, my son and I want a steamer with a smoking whistle. We waited for the new Lionel catalog and our only choice was the Blue Comet. I was going to go with this then decided since I can't run the BC cars (O54) I would stay away from the Blue Comet (those cars may run on O48 but don't want the overhang). His second choice was the K4 from the 2011 Cataolg. Has anyone run these on Fastrack with an O48 curve?

Sorry guys, should have done a search. I read some are running this on O48 and the on-line description from Lionel says O-36.
Yes, all day long. Lionel corrected the radius requirements online after the catalog was printed, these are rated o-36. I've backed mine through an o-36 turnout as well,no problem.
thanks Rick ... is it odd that the 6-11330 (Polar RR K4) still says O-54?
