Hi Guys, can I get some info about this engine.
If switch(direction control) underneath of engine in off position then engine moves just in front.
When I apply voltage to the engine,it moves forward, then I turn off the voltage and turn it again, engine doesn't move, light is on and electric motor noise coming from engine.Then I turn off voltage and turn it again engine moves back.
Is it normal for this engine?

Yes. Normal
This sounds like a normal Lionel E unit to me, which is apparently cycling normally.
forward, neutral, reverse,neutral,forward .... etc. etc.

Completely normal. Direction cycles as follows (from power on) each time you briefly interrupt voltage: Neutral --> Forward --> Neutral --> Reverse --> Neutral --> back to Forward.
