I've been making some "improvements" to my 773 (1950 version) lately. I just finished installing a " High Stack" motor and today received shipment of magnets to create a worm gear cover with 3 rather than 2 magnets. I've got questions about the polarity. I was going to just match the N/S polarity of the originals to the new ones, but I discovered that the two magnets on there now do not have their poles facing the same way. I'm thinking that's not correct. So.....my first question is......should all the magnets have their poles facing the same direction? If that's the case, I can't use the old magnet orientation as a guide for the 3 new ones. How would I work around this to set up the new worm cover?  Not sure that the method in Greenberg that calls for lowering the shell down towards the plate to watch it's spin will work for the new orientation.  Any advice on this will be greatly appreciated.

I think I may have figured out a solution. If this is incorrect, please let me know.

I found the other two magnets at the rear of the frame and they are indeed polarized the same direction. So.....I'm thinking if I match their polarity to the three new ones I'll glue to the plate, I should be good to go. Correct?
