No im waiting for mine. I got the Conrail version.
Still on the water per Dave middle of last week. I saw the same thing and emailed to confirm. Also waiting on two Conrail.
I wanted to update this topic. Got a phone call and shipping notification from TrainWorld. They are on the way! Should receive mine by middle of next week. If anyone else gets there's please share any thoughts or pictures.
Would love to see a video
Yes, these have arrived at Charles Ro per their post earlier today.
Mine has been shipped from the dealer to me and is in transit. (Norfolk Southern). Should arrive next week some time.
Alright! I received my NS LC+ SD60M yesterday, but was out of town for my daughter's college graduation, and was not able to unbox this beast until today. Here are a few pics:
Really a great looking loco. Thanks Lionel for making a modern era LC+ diesel with bluetooth!
Thanks to Legacy Station for the great service!
Any plastic gears in these? Or plastic in general outside of the shell such as in the trucks?

Videos of both LionChief Plus & LEGACY versions.
They look like they sit a little high or is it just the way it was photographed. The BN above looks great.
Dave
Look great. I noticed the NS has that gap going on but the BN looks like it sits lower. Both look good though. Was hoping for a Sunday delivery here but I'll probably have to wait until monday.
Let us know when you have a video ready of yours.
Too bad they were not engineered with the Kinekematic pilot.
For some reason on the Norfolk Southern SD60M the stairs and pilot are mounted low while on the BN 1991 the Stairs and Pilot are mounted higher.
Andrew
Im thinking it might be the Lion Chief engines that ride higher for smaller layouts?
The dual headlights are both ultra-bright LEDs, so this baby really lights up the track ahead. Very cool! Great sound, the diesel sounds are great and volume can be adjusted with the app.

They have an air ride suspension like a lot of commercial trucks have. It's for bumpy tracks.
Anyone have a video to share? Thanks in advance!

They aren't supposed to be scale and correct. Lionchief is supposed to be the Lionel equivalent to Railking, but better in that it comes standard with command control.
I have my locomotive.
This is NOT MY VIDEO, but MrEngineergeorge uploaded a video of the CR version. I am totally and I mean totally impressed. Yes I also do notice the truck and body frame are a little taller then usual and I think that's do to they're coming out with this unit in LionChief, but the engine sounds are really nice. But for me, that selling point is the totally correct Leslie S3L horn. That's not an RS3L horn audio. Like the DD35's Lionel did, that horn recording is a RS3L and the SD60M in this video is an S3L. If anyone has any questions about Leslie horns, email me and I can answer them. But the video George uploaded, is below and the horn and engine sounds are superb.
Yea that sounds nice. Mine is out for delivery! I don't get off until 4 unfortunately.

Thanks for posting my video. I was going to post this morning. I picked these up yesterday. I am very happy with the pair. The paint job is nice. The shade of the blue is striking. They do sound great. Note that I have the horn sounds set to come out of both units. It really gives a great stereo effect. I agree they do sit a little high bit it's not to bad.
George aka Mrengineergeorge.
The pictures and video are not clear on the gap of the front truck. I guess I will wait until I see one in person. The gap would be a no go for me if its looks anything like the NS version in the pictures. The Conrail version looked no better in the video though it was tough to tell.
Please post more pictures if you guys could.
Dave

George, your welcome. Glad I could help. I just wanted to give a link to the video since people were asking what it looks and sounds like.
The sounds are great!
Peter
The diesel sounds are awesome!
Like the new mikados does each different varient/roadname have different horns? When I heard the Conrail one it reminded my of the Legacy Dash 9 horn. If the horn had more base to it then it would be realy spot on in my opinion.
Happy Holidays!
Those look awesome, thanks for the video! Disappointed that Lionel re-used the SD40 sounds from a few months ago though.

But there are some sounds Lionel should re-use that actually sounded really good! Like those of the ¨What if¨ SD70ACES from awhile back.

You and me both. I've got the 6-28316 PRR Heritage SD70ACe, I was running it last night and I couldn't stop hitting that horn, it's a great one!
To me the gap is no worse than any MTH engine. Those always seem to be a bit too high IMO.

Except, many of the MTH Premier models can be ordered with 2-Rail SCALE wheels, fixed pilots, and full length hand rails.

Oh yes. They really don't get talked about much anymore.
