When the unit is powered on, with or without sound, the speakers emit a very audible buzzing. I have heard it in other engines but not this loud. Any ideas? I am very disappointed at this point with this unit. My two other CSX AC6000's have clean sound, its a bit ironic to me that the unit made for sound reproduction would have the worst quality.

I have a similar issue. When I place a TMCC locomotive on my TMCC loop, the speakers are buzz-free. But when the same engine goes on the Legacy loop, a pronounced buzz comes through. It's worse at 18v than 21v, and this applies to every TMCC locomotive with speakers.
Im starting to think it is the transformer, a cw80. I have no way to confirm right now, but when running off 9v power the sound is clean and interference free. The buzz only occurs with track power.
