Did lionel make 6-28291 missouri pacific legacy U30C as advertised in 2008 vol. one cataloge. Did a search on lionels product site and it did not come up. Was the engine cancelled as some times happens? thanks!

I can'thelp on the Lionel U30, but MTH made a real nice Mopac unit. I have both a powered and dummy, they are sweet.
I ran the real things for years on the Mopac, the best were the 4 unit U30C consists on the Labadie coal trains out of St. Louis up Kirkwood Hill.

Charger is sell one now on the Buy/Sell board.

Saw that one for sale. I would like to stay with all legacy engines. Although mth has made more good looking mopac with proto 2.0 and can still be had. Just remembered seeing this in the lionel catalog and had to ask. If I had the funds right now I would snatch up chargers good deal!
