I purchased my Lionmaster Big Boy 4012 TMCC a week ago and it fell to the ground. The damage was to the trailing truck with wheels and the drawbar connect which broke and I can’t attach to the tender. The tender is ok.  When I manually put them together, the sounds are fine, but I need it repaired. The connector which accepts the tender is totally broken and all you see is the flexible pins. Any ideas? I heard Lionel doesn’t repair out of warranty items that are sold or am I wrong? Please advise. The item number is 1932161. What should I do? I spent $1099.00 and couldn’t play more than 3 days. I’m so upset.

Well thats a new locomotive so technically it's under warranty. However ,since you caused the damage you may be charged for the repairs.

That's a totally new drawbar design. Parts are likely not yet available to the "average joe" yet ,so having Lionel repair it is your only option.

I'd call their customer service number tomorrow and see what your options are.

I agree. I don’t mind paying the cost of labor and parts. I will call Lionel tomorrow. Best bet is they will do a thorough and complete job of repairing it with original parts.

gunrunner John.. no it’s not as bad as you think but yes it needs the back 4 wheel segment and the plug and play connector piece to attach to tender.
