Hello all,

Picked this up recently with another number board, wondering if anyone had any leads on what it might be from? It appears to be an EMD number board, but from a search on a few websites and looking at prior engines, it’s got me stumped.

Thanks for any help.

UP heritage CNW???

Don't think so, as every photo I've seen of UP #1995, the number boards are white numerals on black background. A search of what railroads use black numerals on white background might be in order.

No sadly no UP 1995, SD70ACe numberboards are much smaller.

This seems to be a CSX font, but cant find anything numbered like so on their current or previous roster.

Likely one of the exCONRAIL GP38s that went to CSX. I'm not sure if any actually turned a wheel in revenue service as they were returned to lessor shortly after split-date. Here's a link to a photo of that engine (sitting with nothing but other exCR GP38s likely in the same situation)

Jeffrey(or am I dating myself by calling you FURX?)

I found out that it was ex CR/PC 7933, but couldn’t find a picture of it patched, thank you!
