From the STR web site:

The QS-1, QS-1.1, & QS-2 are obsolete along with the entire line of MTH ProtoSounds1 and theMTH After Market offerings: Proto One, Proto Plus, Proto Deluxe and Proto Deluxe II.  Also the various OEM offerings used by 3-rd Rail and Weaver.

The 3000 and 2+ manuals can be purchased from STR or downloaded from the QSI web site.

The older manuals were published too soon for digital presentation.  The only way the older manuals are going to be available electronically is for someone with hard copy to scan them in.

Chuck,

I understand, but they may have had the old manuals and might, for a price, be willing to sell one, I don't know.  It was just a thought.

It seems everyone has washed their hands of the really older products.  The best bet is to find someone with the paper manual and negotiate from there.

We all take for granted the availability of documents/manuals in electronic format.  Acrobat did not become available until mid 1993 (aka about 20 years ago) and it was originally only available for Macintosh and you had to buy it.  Reader 1.0 didn't become widely available until the IRS got involved and purchased the right to distribute it (Reader) freely.  Prior to this, very little documentation was available directly on line.  There were too many incompatibilities with file formats and issues of bandwidth to make document distribution easy/cheap.
