Folks,

To get the details right, I often rely on modelers in the know. If any of you have good knowledge of the details of the Timken 4-Aces and transition details to the NP A-1 and are willing to review detailed drawings, please email me at: scott408@yahoo.com

Here is where we are today:

For what it's worth, there are over 70 photos in the Ron Nixon collection at The Museum of the Rockies, which you can easily find by Google if you haven't already. Some of these include the Timken 1111 as it demonstrated on the NP, and later the NP2626 in coal and oil fired versions. The research library at NPRHA.org is another resource and you don't have to be a member to use it.

Thank you, Scott, for doing this project. I have it on order!

We got lots of data, photos, builders drawings. The designer are digesting them and producing designs. We need someone with an eye for the details and history. What details, when, to review the REV1 drawings and get us to REV2.... until we feel the design is correct.

Thank you all for your suggestions.

Scott Mann
