Believe this is one of the locos for Hitler's wartime train, " Fuhrersonderzug" .

Part of the streamlining craze of the late '30's. Kinda neat.  Have seen photos of German steam locomotives dressed up with swastikas and supportive political phrases lauding Hitler. 

If only Trump would get the same idea for, say, the B&LE 2-10-4 currently languishing! 

I think this is one of the Borsig streamliners from the 1930s. There were other builders too.

well...........I'll be darned, that was a QUICK  identification!  I knew it was obviously a streamlined steam engine, and kinda thought some of the side "portals" might be gun ports?  You dashed my hopes for stumping the OGR crowd!!!!!        LOL
