If this was scale I’d be a buyer. The fantasy schemes are growing on me. I bet Lionel will wish the would have Catologed this version

The loco is alot bigger than the K-Line Big Boy. Not to mention the size of the K-Line loco is S gauge. Picture it but slightly larger than the Railking Big Boy
The Lionel Lionmaster Big Boy is 29 inches long and the MTH RailKing version is 28 1/8 inches, according to their websites. (A 2011 posting on this forum stated that the Lionel version’s length is actually 30 1/4 inches, which probably took the couplers into account.)
The K-Line version is 25 1/2 inches long, according to that same OGR post.
The scale Big Boys are about 35 inches long.
Jim R. Thanks so much for describing the differences for me. We wanted to offer something special for our 40th Anniversary, keeping the cost as reasonable as we could and hoping to make the offering appeal to many.
