Mike and all, I had a charge on my credit card today, August 30th, for the Mercury car. So keep an eye out for the UPS man. Of course, they are being shipped from NC rather than Michigan. (In the past we were charged at the time of order rather than the time of shipping; a nice change for us by LRRC.) Frank
Hi all got a UPS notification today for a LIONEL delivery on Tuesday. Only thing I can think of it is the MERCURY CAPSULE CARS. I HOPE.

Arrived today and is excellent. Definitly among the best LRRC club cars yet. Does anyone venture a guess as to what the 60th Anniversary Loco will be? I am guessing an Alco, Geep, or Prairie Style Steamer

Received mine today, 9/6. Mike and GG are 100% correct. This is one of the best LRRC cars. The red and gray colors are great and the white markings contrast well with the body color. The body shape is sharp and it is not just another flat car with a load on it. It will work well with the N&W Space Set and the Lionel Rocket Launcher accessory. Frank

Very nice. Looks like Lionel's "Railroaders Club" has released something interesting and relatively affordable for a change. (I see that they still have plenty of the expensive Lincoln Funeral trains and the two Pennsy locos with passenger cars in stock from last year!)
