I would say no they do not sell email lists, pretty sure that is their policy too. I have been here for a few years now and have never received an unsolicited email that was train related or could be linked to OGR in any way. My email is also listed in my profile and I have not gotten anything from there either, other than some emails from other forum members from time to time.

That is the correct method. When those folks who include their eMail address within a post, the spammers/scammers can then see that eMail address without them being a "member" on the OGR Forum, and thus traceable.

Best rule of thumb; NEVER POST your eMail address within any post, so that it is visible by everyone in the world.

Does OGR sell a list of the email addresses of the forum members?

Never gonna happen.

Suggestion, don't put a e-mail address  in a post.

I see our posts all over the e-net all the time. I have done searches on train items and subjects and sure enough our OGR post pop up frequently.

No big deal unless you have put something in a post you don't want the world to see. I noticed that for years now
