On the Marx plastic cars and engines there is a round trademark in the mold. Some say "made in the USA" and some are marked "Marx Toys". Anyone know how to date these trademarks and why the difference?
I was hoping a Marx expert would jump in, but I believe the “Made in the USA” logo was on Marx trains made for Sears. The retailer preferred its own branding for a variety of its products for decades.
