I bought a new Red Owl a few weeks ago and it arrived with a non functional set of vents. The gears and styrene parts were loose inside the building.
I could attempt a repair and planned on it. I discovered that really cannot without destroying the roof in effect needing a complete rebuild. Something I didn't want to do in this area of the structure.
My group has train show we are exhibiting at this weekend and I did contact their customer service department. Instant response and ... He sent a replacement 2 day air. Personal attention.. just amazing customer support and care.
I send my personal thanks to Menard's and the Menard's train guy!
Oh yeah.. and that Red Owl is just marvelous; please don't take offense if I get into it and super detail with upgrades, it's beautiful.
