Menards York Hotel Royale

Assuming that it's brand new, I would just call Menard's and return it for a new one. My experience is that their return policy has been very good.

Thanks. Actually, I had ordered three Menard buildings and already exchanged one from that group.

I can't find a phone number for their customer service, but I spoke with great people in their Mentor, OH store who expedited the exchange , after customer service dropped the ball.

I have the work hotel and it is a great building.  However, my turbines work but I am trying to figure out how to disconnect them.  They are quite loud and now ones seems to notice that they actually operate.  To me, the feature is not worth the noise.

Looks like it may not be possible to get in there.

Since the turbines aren't working, it's likely a wire is disconnected.  Does anyone know how I can verify that, and then what? Access is very limited. I can certainly live without the turbines, but it may be a nice feature.  My Menards strip mall arrived with a  wire disconnected, and that was an easy fix.

I definitely do not want to return the hotel to Menards.

Does anyone know how to disconnect the turbines. To me they really don’t add anything except an irritating noise, that I would like to eliminate. It would be nice to light the lower lobby.

I think my turbines just died.  I would think you can spot the wire going to the motors.  You may have to approach from the top.  One thing about These buildings similar to woodland scenics.  They don't take disassembly very well.
