Yup, there is. Like make sure my next kid is a girl, and that she'll love trains as much as me. I bet a Unimog can't do that.

Look at the bright side. If you have a daughter, at best she'll be a hard core rail fan; at worst she'll be a carrier and your grandkids will be hard core rail fans. There's no down side as I see it -- either way you'll have a great kid to spoil rotten.

So Matt, what happened to our Prodigy? Super Mario, Donky kong, Doom...X box.
Grandaughter likes them...to race at 100 MPH...on the turns.

Blame that on "the other side of the family."
With MTH emphasis on European railways, this will be a perfect addition, using the miniature Proto 3.0 command board. (also could be installed in 44 tonner, Trackmobile, which Lionel has!).
Hi,
I thought that I would bring it your attention that NZG is coming out with a highly detailed 1:50 scale die-cast version of the latest Mercedes Benz Unimog in Orange or Blue colors with a release date of Sep 2014. The following links have some images of the preproduction sample taken at the Nurnberg Annual Toy Fair last month. Unlike the older NZG models, these newer releases seem to have a very high level of detail to keep up with their competitors, I assume.

These are stationary models & I intend to get 1 for my construction themed diorama. Since I do not a layout, even my O-Scale trains don’t move around & this Unimog would fit in well.
Thanks,
