Didn’t see any midweek photos for today, so let me start... several years ago, I took a 2 week vacation to Alaska - undoubtedly one of the most spectacular vacations of my life!!! One week was on a ship, but the other was on land and included a train ride on the Alaska Railroad to Denali National Park. Here are some pics of the incredible train we rode on (it was the last week in June, but we were stuck for a few hours, literally in the middle of nowhere, due to frost heaving the track and we had to wait for a work train to come out and repair the track!!!).

Can’t miss including one photo from the land portion of the trip... Mt. Denali is sooooo big, it creates it’s own weather. We were told that only 35% of visitors actually see Mt. Denali due to it being socked in with clouds. We took a short flight up to Ruth Glacier, about a mile up Mt. Denali - this is a pic of the summit of the mountain. Only 7% of visitors ever see the summit - we were amazingly lucky!!!
