I am reporting from my cell phone, and I do not have many photos here. I will post them next week.
This image shows a few of the campers at the CNOC.

Glad I confirmed whether this was started before I hit "Post Now" or there would have been duplicate threads.
I hope I haven't posted these before, in honor of Roger's "Solid Rock Railroad", here are a few oldies. Dan
SLSF 847 West, blast down Kirkwood Hill into Valley Park, MO in 1977.
SLSF 721 East charges up Kirkwood Hill in 1978. The Frisco had a steeper grade up the hill, they started out below the parallel Missouri Pacific at Valley Park at milepost 19, but by mile post 17, they are already high above the Mo Pac double main. The telephone post just below the front of the unit is where the MP line runs.
SLSF 477 South, heads out on the River Sub thru Shrewsbury MO in 1978. They had a number of bridges adorned with slogans promoting their routes, "Ship on the Frisco ", "Get IT going Frisco" and another very wordy bridge at Lindenwood Yard promoting their routes to the Southeast and Southwest.
Here are my photos for this week.
All were taken at Alliance, Ohio on 6/25/15.
Crossed another NS Heritage unit from my list. The Lehigh Valley heading East.
A unit in CSX paint running behind an immaculate NS SD60E number 7004.
An Eastbound Manifest train and the Westbound Road Railer meet just in front of the AMTRAK station.
As we were heading home because of rain, managed to catch this Eastbound.
Some Northern Ohio train sightings this past week.
A CP Eastbound Autorack in Berea on NS track.
And then a Westbound CN Autorack on CSX track.
And something that is becoming rarer - coal drags and especially and East and west bound at the same time in Berea, Ohio.
CSX gravel train heading Eastbound in Berea, Ohio
Great shots everyone.
Nothing special this week for me. I am up north at my parents lake this week for our family vacation. It is just outside of Clare, MI. I headed into town on Tuesday morning to check out the progress on the Clare Union Depot. They moved it about a half mile down the tracks last year, where it used to be inside a diamond. It is steadily being restored.

I finally got a chance to edit photos. Here we have Friday's NS 13T crossing the Lehigh River in Lehighton, Pa (Weissport). Weather wasn't the best, but I had to get out to see the BNSF unit leading 4 other engines and 70+ cars.
A shot I grabbed while my fireman was warming up the locomotive for it's 4th of July runs this past weekend.
I didn't get out much the past week, but I did get a roll of film back on Tuesday of shots taken the week before. It's now taking me about a week to get a roll back from my local place. Maybe I'm lucky I have a local place for black & white film? Umm. Shots are of RCPE in SD and MN. Camera was my spiffy new Nikon F3/T and Nikon AiS lenses, Ilford HP5 film.
1. Tied down ethanol train at Tracy MN waiting for CP crew to take it on back east.
2. The ethanol train e/b at Balaton MN. A few years ago DME replaced all the old track with 160# CWR. Very near this spot an ethanol train derailed despite having all new track and at least one tanker ruptured. There was great fear the leak would make it to the lake and kill fish, but that didn't happen. Track speed is 40 mph here, but loaded tankers are restricted to 25 mph.
3. A w/b train tied down at the depot in Pierre, SD
4. A train of empty hoppers approaches the elevator complexes at Onieda, SD. Tractor is a Farmall M, still used to cut hay.
5. Stored tankers at Magnolia MN, on the Minnesota Southern line.
Kent in SD
Two23: Mercy me! That's a Griswold crossing flasher with rotating stop sign in the Balaton photo! I thought those things were all gone. Do you recall if the stop sign is still yellow?
Good photos. Thanks, and keep them coming.
