Would different dairys be mixed on the same train? I.E. hoods with White Brothers,Alderney ETC. What about the "NYC "milk cars?

Were these ever iced at at platform where reefers were iced? Obviously no roof hatches so it goes through the door but ice platforms have a lower level for this.

I'm pretty sure different dairies were mixed on exclusive milk trains, at least they were on my hometown railroad, the DL&W.

I'm not aware that milk cars were ever iced, as the distance they traveled was relatively short.
