C'mon guys!
You're not the only one who can have an orgasm of excitement for the Milwaukee Road!! I launched a jihad with many others to get the 261 made. And I'm up to my eyeballs in Milwaukee pre-orders....Little Joe, FP45, etc...
Feel better?
MTH is releasing some Milwaukee Road items this month. Wait for those to arrive.

Aren't they sleek, I was especially looking for pictures of those strange windows on the end observation car!

Got a real MR fix today when I opened up the Weaver Gold Edition Morning Hiawatha passenger car set that I just acquired. WOW! Beautiful.
Pix Paul!!!

As far as I know, none of the three prototype Hiawatha sets with the Beaver Tail observation cars have ever been done in 15" length. The only 18" Beaver Tail I have seen is the maroon and orange ribside from Lionel. Weaver has done all three in scale size
The only other 0 gauge 3-rail Beaver Tail I've ever seen was this oddity from an outfit called Phoenix Models, which is better known for fluted stainless streamliners. I don't recall the length, but I think it was 18". As you can see from the photo, it resembles the original but lacks scale fidelity. I got this photo from a guy who offered to sell me the set, and this is the only one I've ever seen or heard of.
