By ORIGINAL do you mean the Canadian or American one? The American one is on display at the original set which is now a museum.
I assume you mean the Canadian one though, based on your pic? That I have no idea.....

The Canadian one would be the original then, wouldn't it? Maybe first is a better word. There are enough differences looking at it that I have to say it's either a completely different trolley or it was heavily reworked for the US show.
Your replica is great! I just bought the Bachmann G-scale open trolley that you used. What did you use for the front/rear bumper and the black step rails that cover the wheels on both sides? Do you know if anyone has been able to find the dimensions of the original Mister Rogers trolley? Thanks for your help!
The original trolley is def still in Latrobe, PA at St Vincent College. We just saw it over the past winter

I have a Mr Rogers Trolley, not O gauge but an old wooden toy one. I used to watch him on PBS. I remember how kind he was on his show, though the memories have gotten hazy even at 24 years old. The trolley has been sitting with my Thomas wooden railway stuff for years. I decided to pull it out for this thread.
USPS has just issued a Mister Rodgers stamp--unfortunately it doesn't show the trolley.
Just rolled my own Mister Rogers tribute trolley...

That’s great work! Love it!

Hi Randy, would you consider selling one of them? I’m in desperate need, name your price.
Trolley Mike posted:Drum roll please? I gave the paint extra time to dry out and then put it in my shed with a heater to help bake the paint on. There's a few very minor paint imperfections, but the weather today wasn't ideal, and I got ZERO drips! So, now here it is! I'm going to go get dinner with the wife, and then come home and piece it together. Oh, I just now noticed I used the wrong green paint on the benches. I have the correct, darker one, just used the wrong one. I will take care of that, and then clear coat the benches. (Will take an hour) and then I glue it all together, screw the motor in, write on the yellow signs, and DONE!!!!! The whole thing is very significantly lighter than I anticipated so I may slap a couple pinewood derby weights on the belly where you'll never see them.
Hi Mike,
interested in building another one? Haha I’d love to add this to my collection. I currently have the Holgate wooden toy, but have been having trouble finding a powered truck or chassis that would work well with it.
I was able to finally find the powered one on eBay last year!
@PWNJ did you make that N scale one? If so, want to make another? 🙏
Hi Mark,
Yep, scratchbashed it from a Bachmann N-scale Brill trolley shell and a Kato 2-axle powered chassis. I might be interested in making another, but my schedule would limit it to back-burner here-and-there progress. Here are some shots of how I did it though.
That’s awesome! Well, I lack the skills in creating such a cool thing, so if you ever consider making another one, please keep me in mind and the compensation you seek. My email is below. My son loves Daniel Tiger, the Mr. Roger’s cartoon spinoff.
Thanks
