More 70's era power for the layout....

Here is the reason for the repaint of the Lionel caboose that I post the 'How To' on recently.

A Rock Island WbB GP9 loco to pull my new RI bay window......

As I stated.....the Rock Island never really showed up on my train radar....but after watching some videos on the RR I was hooked!

This is a nice custom painted unit.

Now I need a U Boat in bankruptcy blue 'THE ROCK' scheme!!!

Here it is with my almost finished bay window caboose.......

Colorful if nothing else!!!!
