It's finally confirmed!  Premier 44 ton diesel locomotives in 5 road names!  Union Pacific, Nickel Plate Road, Boston & Albany, Long Island, New York Central,  Norfolk & Western and Pennsylvania steam fans should be happy.

Preorder prices will be posted on our web site this week.

For those of you who will not make to York, MTH will be at the Great New York State Model Train Fair in Syracuse November 1-2, 2014!!

I see that MTH is trying to issue the formerly cancelled Kodak 8K tank car again.

Westinghouse is back in the RK line with a generator car. hmm.....

Looks like MTH is using #9331" for the PRR 44 tonner the [ex Strasburg Rr] engine. I wonder what the Bachmann model's number is?

Oh OH! Is MTh hinting at a split pilot for the 44 tonner? I was wondering how the short electrocouplers will swing!

I noticed the 44T will be 9331 and (possibly) 9339. Noted the option of multiple road numbers. Both are on the Walkersville Southern Railroad in Maryland, privately owned.

They claim O27 compatibility.  I wonder if that's like the Lionel Shay, the locomotive has no problem with the specified curves, just don't try to connect any cars to to the locomotive and run it.
