Has MTH recently improved on their switch design? Have read earlier posts that some problems existed in the past, shorts - plastic armature breaking etc.  Still trying to decide what track to use for my layout(25'x13').  like the scale look of MTH Scale Trax, but concerned about the switches.  Leaning to FasTrack, don't care for the looks, but appears to have reliable Command Control switches and easy installation.  Prefer looks of Scale Trax vice Gargraves/Ross.  Will need lots of track/switches, therefore a big decision.  Have MTH Switches been changed/improved.

I was pretty sure that either Dave Hikel or Ted Hikel had posted here on the forum a detailed check list for the Scaletrax switches of things to check/fix/correct before installing. Was also pretty sure there was another post (maybe the same one) that they had passed all this information on to MTH for corrections in future manufacturing. Unfortunately I can't find the posts anymore? Maybe they will see this and provide an update.

Found the post about the: Fix List from Dave Hikel  There is more Scaletrax info in the thread as well.

Here's a search list of Dave Hikel and ScaleTrax I didn't read them all, just skimmed through, but I didn't find the switch suggestions? Might be some other good info for you in these?

In reality the issues with the switches are not found on all of them, just a few and are relatively easy to correct as you will see in the aforementioned posts by Dave and Ted. Scaletrax is a very good track system...

A real visual advantage is the low profile (lower than ALL other 3 rail systems) that greatly enhances the realism of our models by giving the illusion that they are 'massive' as here in the photo below.

It's a beautiful track system as displayed in Rich Batista's Black Diamond Railway video series. Their large switches are in production now and we should see them shortly.

If you're looking for a dealer to help you with this, consider us. We can make you a heck of a deal on a large purchase of this track system.

Thanks.
