Can someone tell me how high of amps each outside throttle can handle? I have been looking at my instruction sheets and can't find my answer. I know passenger cars suck up lots of power and my 11 cars are showing about 7 amps. Thanks for your help.

10 amps....
PS - MTH says the new ones arrive at their place by 7/15....
We have a few extras - you can order one here
Is that per side or total amperage

10 amps per side per UL regulation. 10A x 20V = 200 watts x 2 handles = 400 watts.

Sounds like you have 11 cars stuffed to the gills with incandescent bulbs,…..if the amp draw is worrisome, swap them to LED’s and your amps will go down in the dirt….

Thanks for these last two replies. I will have to look and see if the bulbs in my K-Line 21" cars can be replaced with LEDs.
An abundance of advice has been posted on this forum by @gunrunnerjohn on the issue of replacing incandescent lighting with LEDs. This an inexpensive way to extend your power supply resources and improve your lighting quality and performance. His solutions can be implemented DIY or accomplished using circuits sold through Hennings.
