I recently purchased 3 Lionel NJ transit passenger cars with car numbers 5613, 5614, 5615. I believe that they came out of a set # 11833 which was made in 1997. I have searched the web and found pictures of the set box; but cannot find any information on the catalog/product # for these cars. I don't see the set in the 1997 catalog and believe that it is an uncataloged set. Does anyone have a flyer from 1997 when this set came out? Are there catalog/product #s listed? I realize that these are fairly common cars; but I would like to list them correctly in my inventory.

Here is the flyer, but I couldn't find a picture that is easy to read. Hope this helps.
Gerry,
Thanks so much! I had pulled up another copy of that flyer that was totally unreadable. I was able to copy & paste the one that you provided into MS Powerpoint and blow it up to the point that it was readable. The #s are 6-15122 - 6-15124 for car #s 5613 - 5615.
The Lionel product finder still won't acknowledge these cars.
THIS IS NOT A PRODUCT BASHING. I HHAVE EQUAL AMOUNTS OF BOTH PRODUCTS!
I find the MTH search engine to be so much more helpful and fruitful.
I found the cars in Greenberg's price guide if that is what you want, they go for $45.00 each according to Greenberg's, however you will never get that amount when you go to sell them.
They look like 027 size passenger cars, plastic body, have two lights inside and siloutes on windows.

Yes Lee they are based on the Postwar 2422 type cars; although the parts are not interchangeable. Once I pulled the number off the flyer that Gerry dug up, My Trainminder inventory had the same price for C-10.
Bob,
I was referring to the more current 1990's series 15100's then to the old post-war style.
So the 15100 series is a post-war design? Interesting.
