I have an older MTH Baldwin Diesel AS 616 locomotive, Protosound one, and I was having it reset back to factory settings and it got away on the track and the front snowplow was broken.  I left a message at MTH for Midge, but after reading the forum, I realize that may be a dead end.  Any idea where I may find this bolt on piece (requires 2 screws)  Thx.

You can e mail the MTH parts dept from there website, But I always recieve a reply from Midge by phone or e mail but sometime it may take several days since she probably gets hundreds of call a week. You can also try calling again , sometime she does pick up the phone. You can check the parts diagram for your locomotive online and order direct also.
Now if you do order direct they do charge a $9.75 shipping and handling fee.

Got the snow plow yesterday.  I greatly appreciate it.  Thanks again.

I grew up with Lionel trains, and would pull them out at Christmas occasionally, but have just recently gotten into the hobby more seriously.  I find that people within a particular hobby that have a passsion for it are the most generous, appreciative, and helpful.  I grew up playing tennis competitively and have been boating on Lake Erie for the past several years, and both of these endeavors have resulted in long lasting friendships based on a common interest.  Marty's volunteering to send me this part at his own expense is just another example of how a shared interest helps bring out the best in people.   I look forward to the point where I can reciprocate one day.
