HI, I am looking for the brass feeler that touches tender axle and connects to whistle in tender. Looked on parts breakdown on Lionel and show no parts for tender and cannot find anything similar.
attached is photo.
If any of you know part number or have this part please let me know. I am repairing an engine for club member and would like to have whistle working so they can send to grand kids.

GROUND STRAP / COPPER / 44mm L x 2.5mm W, 25 cents!
That ground strap can easily be cut from some thin brass shim stock from ACE hardware with a pair tin snips and a drill if the shipping for the 25 cents part is too high.
