Just received these 2 Alaskan buses from Dave @ Mercer Junction. There going to be put at my bus depot which I recently revamped.

They look great. Are you going to weather them?
Cool. I particularly love buses identified with railroads: much prefer "Santa Fe Trailways" to just "Trailways," etc. I particularly like the Yellow coaches, too, and the Alaskan Railways livery look good; nice colors and arrangement. One thing I also like about these Corgi models is the wheels'; very detailed and real looking.
Those look great Spence. I recently got the Boston and Maine bus but I like the Alaska colors.
Really nice, Spence! Dave sells a good bit of Alaska Railroad items. This is one I have never seen. I do have an MTH Alaska switcher on order, pre-order. If things hold true, one could probably bring it via dugout canoe from Alaska, through the Panama Canal, up the Mississippi, Ohio, and Beaver Rivers, then up the Neshannock Crick to Dave in Mercer faster. LOL
No complaint. I have other engines to run, and my TIU just went in for warranty repair anyway.
Very nice looking bus. I'm still hoping for a Bangor and Aroostook bus. Rode them several times back in the 60's and 70's going to and from "The County."

Good looking buses.

Hi Spence,
Very nice looking buses!!!!

Who doesn't like the Alaska Railroad. Nice addition to your bus terminal.

Yes, and I will fight you to be first to order when somebody decides to do an ACF Brill in Santa Fe Trailways. There were a lot of Brills on the road, but no O gauge models.
I assume the ARR buses never got down to the lower 48 in service? I have no idea.
The annoying thing to me is that I have yet to find good pre-war representations of busses in O scale. I'm no expert on busses but a pal of mine tells me that most of the Corgi line that have pre-war and WW2 markings are, in fact, postwar models of busses.
Dave,
Do have any of these buses left? I went to your web site and type it into the serch box but got no results.

Joe,
I will have to check when I get into the shop today. My web site is currently in limbo and not accurately up to date. Hopefully it will be done soon. My apologies.
Dave
Thanks Dave.
