really surprised how much I like this bay window caboose,,,,i thought it should had a smoke stack,,,but now that I see it,,,not so much,truly inpressed,,,I did a side by with the regular 217,,,and I have to say ,,,I would rather have the bay,,,,,way to go mth,,,,,,,

I like the looks of the bay caboose too Terry. Maybe a different road name or color I'll pull the trigger on one. It's nice to see something a little different.
since I cant buy all 4 at this time,,,,this was the standout for me,,,,i like how it looks longer ,which it isn't,,,and I like that we didn't have to wait 1 or 2 years for it,,,,would like to see some western roads,,like sf,sp,np,gn,,,,,,the up looks too much like the chessie
I think it's doubtful to see any northern roads like one done in B&M a NH could be possible or just a plain old red caboose I'd be happy with.
MTH did a very nice job with these "new tooling" freight cars. They even made a new railing stamping so they could add brakewheels to the caboose, which were missing on the 217. When you hear about MTH concentrating more on European and smaller gauges, it's reassuring to see them putting this kind of investment into Standard Gauge at this point in time.
