really surprised how much I like this bay window caboose,,,,i thought it should had a smoke stack,,,but now that I see it,,,not so much,truly inpressed,,,I did a side by with the regular 217,,,and I have to say ,,,I would rather have the bay,,,,,way to go mth,,,,,,,IMGP0769IMGP0770IMGP0771

MTH did a very nice job with these "new tooling" freight cars.   They even made a new railing stamping so they could add brakewheels to the caboose, which were missing on the 217.  When you hear about MTH concentrating more on European and smaller gauges, it's reassuring to see them putting this kind of investment into Standard Gauge at this point in time.
