New GGD Budd Slumber Coaches

I have an Amtrak one.  For me this is holy grail of passenger cars as I rode in them on Amtrak's Broadway Limited extensively in the late 80's and early 90's while in college.  They are excellent cars overall.  Of course I'm biased, I did the painting diagrams for them.    Not my best photo.  I'll have to get the car out and get some clearer shots for you. 

BTW, there was a Burlington car made with skirting specifically to go with the CA Zephyr set.  I'd call Scott to see if he has any in stock. 

Got a NP one for the North Coast Limited I may finally finish.  Nice car fits in with my homebuilt domes and the weaver substitutes that I use until finished with the whole train

I agree with Jonathan that these are spectacular cars. I bought an NP and CB&Q.

I also have an amtrak one. They're nice and unique cars. 

I just bought the B&O version yesterday! Can't wait to see it!

I just ordered one of the CB&Q's last week, and am anxious to get my hands on it. I'm going to be using it as part of an early Amtrak Empire Builder made up of cars with a variety of paint schemes, mostly BN predecessors. Those trains were nicknamed "rainbows" for their colorful consists.

I obtained the Atlas o Amtrak Cal Zepher cars used at a deep discount. I thought there were too many duplicate cars so I sold off three duplicates to pay for my Amtrak Slumbercoach!

Here is a video of my NYC Slumbercoaches. I preordered both road numbers. They are incredible and I am very happy with my purchase. Also consider this may be your only chance to own these cars as they likely will not be made in o scale again anytime soon. My advise... Buy them right away!

Do these cars come with "people" installed?

They have about 10 or 12 "Little People" in them

I bought the Amtrak version to run in a private excursion train with various cars and power on the point.
