And it's too dark at night. The colors are all wrong.
I think he mentioned 2s in addition to the GS-4. I believed he rattled off at least 8 choices. SF black I believe.

What vision features does it have? I hope cylinder smoke, pop off smoke, whistle smoke, stereo sounds and force coupler.
There is alot and I mean alot of non prototypical items in this catalog. More Scobby stuff, Frozen 2, Disney, even Star Trek. If you are into this you will be happy!! Luckily nothing in there for me!!

Lol!! C’mon man..... professor snape is not an engineer. And since when does Lionel & free go in the same paragraph!
I’m really hoping Lionel does another run of Legacy N&W Y6b’s soon. Their previous run is extremely difficult to find!

They must be slowing down. Last year's catalog is 254 pages.
Ryan said the new catalog will not include ho it will be separate this year.

It'd be odd if those included any Daylights, given that Lionel cataloged a bunch of those just a few years ago.
The daylight GS’s are Visionline Hybrids. First time Lionel is doing a Hybrid engine as a Visionline. I guess that’s why so many GS’s are being offered.

What do you mean hybrid?

It’ll probably be a Brass Hybrid from the sound of it. Lots of extra details!

The needs of the many will out weigh the need of the few, or the one.
I want a vision line Thomas the tank engine with the force coupler effect synced up with his facial expressions!!!!

The more force on the coupler, the more he looks like he’s pooping!

that is one visionline engine other than an SD70ACE T4 or NYC P Motor i just gotta have
dang, I thought they actually made a vision sd70ace, tricked
I'd much rather have a Tier 4 GEVO
I'd rather have an EMD E5, stainless steel the whole 9 yards, but that's only for my dreams
Hints on the diesel engines?
I hope they didn't do a vision line GS-4 they just released those in 2017 and I spent $1400 to buy one! I'll be so disappointed if they do a VL in that after offering it up so recently. I'm personally hoping for Lionel to do a scale Pennsy T1 Duplex...I don't remember them ever doing a full scale version of it in legacy but I could be wrong
justin p posted:I'd rather have an EMD E5, stainless steel the whole 9 yards, but that's only for my dreams
I emailed Ryan Kunkle on this a while ago, he said that’s a lot of new tooling for 1 engine, plus he would want to do correct matching cars..... it’s not out of the question but!! It’s far down the line. I would Pre-order some E5’s in a heartbeat

Correct as in Nebraska Zephyr or correct in proper Budd domes?

They are making Vision Line GS-1, GS-2, GS-3, GS-4, GS-5, and GS-6 in various road names and configurations. Many have matching scale passenger cars. (SP Lark, SP Golden State, American Freedom Train, Chessie Steam Special, SP 5-Car Freight set, and SP Daylight w/ passenger cars)
Twenty-seven GS series locomotives in all.
It seems strange to me that they would do that many variations of the same locomotive in one catalog.
Other than that, it's lots of traditional O-gauge trains with licensed paint schemes (Disney, scooby-doo, Star-Trek, Anheuser-Bush, Coors, looney tunes, batman, Ford, Chevy, e.t.c.)
I'm a scale guy, so the only thing that caught my eye was the newly tooled modern-era plug-door beer boxcars.
But at $99 MSRP a piece, I'm going to pass.
Is there any vision line freight in this catalog?
