Hope this gets made. Newest engine for Metra. Not sure if Lionel ever did Metra, I know that MTH did.

I hope it gets made as well, but the chances are probably slim. Lionel never made Metra, K-line did. I will never part with my MTH Metra engines, even now more than ever.
That would be a great addition to the roster. I’m with Matt, without MTH I don’t have much hope for more Metra anything. I had asked MTH to make the new Metra paint scheme but the heritage schemes are very cool too.
I’m still holding out for some MTH employees to step up and find a way to continue doing special runs of locos and cars. Long shot but you never know!
Bachmann can make the William F59PHI from K-LINE in any paint scheme.
Ask the people at Bachmann Trains for this in O scale on their Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages.

I would buy the CNW, Milwaukee and a CB&Q!

The trouble is nobody makes the "Winnebago" F40 unique to Metra.

Amtrak's units #450 and #451 had the "Winnebago" carbody though they were classified as F69PHAC's.
Lionel mentioned that the F40 tooling was modular and the sloped face was planned. However, the initial F40PH run had some problems and now the F40 may not be made again anytime soon.

And the image is cropped from MY photo, previously posted on Front End Friday using the "Evil Twin" watermark...

Well at least Metra is running the Burlington unit on the BNSF racetrack. Looks like that photo was taken on la Grange Road in downtown La Grange, IL.

Lou, I’ll reply for Rusty. That is LaGrange Road. Can’t wait until I can ride the Metra again!!
Yep. La Grange Road. It was a lucky catch.
Getting back to the OP, here's the facebook link for the C&NW heritage unit.
Of all the Metra heritage units, this one appears the most faithful to the fallen flags painting diagrams.
