Believe it or not!...... I finally just fired it up. Sounds good. Different horn and it and the bell sounds better to me than the original Dash 8 file.
I have to post over in the DCS column as my system was buggered up. I didn't realize the TIU situation was biting me.
Yes, I did build a EMD SD70ACe in G scale. It and the MP15AC I built are my pride and joy. The system lost the MP15 and I was aggravated. I'm getting it straightened out now.
So if I could get my computer to keep working and posting I'll be good!

Hey Joe, that looks incredible!!! But, do I see a pilot that is connected to the trucks, not fixed? What's up with that?

They come like that. They always have. There's a set of fixed pilots in the box. I'm going to cast some new pilots with smaller openings and hopefully body mount the couplers too.
That's my plans. Let's see if I ever do it!

Hi Joe, I didn't know the MTH G scale engines came with movable pilots. I have never bought any because they are 1/32. I always buy the 1/29 scale stuff. Thanks for the reply. It's still a very nice model.
