Got a call from my LHS yesterday! My new Santa Fe Northern #2926 arrived and it is now running on the layout. Here is a shot of the California Limited passing an SP freight in the Sierra Nevada. The Cab Forward is waiting in a siding while the Limited passes.
MTH has really outdone themselves with the detail on this one. It has both whistle and bell cords simulated along with safety chains on the tender trucks. All of the tender hatches open (both for water and oil), the cab has curtains and windows along with opening roof vents. I love it!
