They look somewhat European which is not a surprise coming from Siemens.   That includes the windows which are a nice size.  Speaking of windows, there appear to be doors at both ends of each car except that at one end (towards the left in the video) there is no window in what otherwise appears to be a door.  Does anybody know what the configuration of these cars is?

One end regular door.  Other wheelchair lift ?

IT could be a Plug rather than a door. In other words a door cutout is there possibly for future upgrades and/or ease of mfg. but a plug was added to fill in the hole.

Similar cars are being delivered for Amtrak/CalTrans San Joaquins service.

Thank you for the link.  Interesting that the San Joaquins have windows in the doors at both ends but the door on the right seems shorter in height as if that door is for high platforms whereas the door on the left is longer for low platforms.  (I don't recall seeing high platforms in California but I am not familiar enough with Amtrak in California to know what the situation is.)

If you go to https://www.railwayage.com/pas...est-amtrak-ventures/ and scroll down to the second photo, there is a recessed handrail next to the opening of the car on the right (with the blind door), so it seems more likely to be some kind of door rather than a plug.

The recessed handrailing is more for the safety crews switching out the car and riding the stirrup rather than a door. There is no door handle on your "door".

Unless someone shows me that Plug opens up as a door, I will be unconvinced its a door.
