New style Lionel 70 Ton roller bearing truck randomly uncouples, any solution?

It is uncoupling with any type of load on it. And causing operational headaches

Has anyone had this problem and conjured up a solution?

I use the small dentist rubber bands that are for teeth braces. It holds it shut but can be opened manually if need be. Others more mechanical minded may tell you how to tighten the inner workings of the coupler.
