Cool video. The area where they shot this used to be out in the open. The new Hudson Yards Project is being built above. This is what the area looks like from above.

Let's hope that Amtrak can pull this off without any major disasters or setbacks.

Here is a shot of the "A" interlocking that they mention in the video. Just a little bit of stuff going on there.

Sorry but I think you are a block too far west. The new construction is over the used to be "Open Air Space"  on W 33rd and Ninth Ave, just across the street of the old Farley Post Office Building.

Your project "The new Hudson Yards" is on 10th ave and 33rd street across the street from "Manhattan West" and that is being built over the LIRR Staging yard on the west side. If you google it now and get the satellite image, google still shows the "trench" dug out for the future Amtrak Gateway project.
