O Scale Denver Convention Tours

I am signed up for the convention also.  I am hoping to rent a car for a day to see the layouts and share the cost with other attendees.  I'll see if anyone wants to share a rental when I get there.  I am definitely not paying $400 to rent a car for a day.

Uber could be expensive.  I understand that one layout that I want to see is about 70 miles from Denver.  NH Joe

I am driving in from Sioux City, IA about 10 hours. I would be glad to help some if we are going the same direction while there.

I am Driving to the show and would be able to take a couple of people with me to the tours and the presentation at Forney Museum.

Should be a great presentation at the Forney. I've been a volunteer there for many years. Displayed my cars there too. I'll see if I can offer a carpool also. I have my wife and kiddies so probably not.

Working on the Longmont Terminal & Northern model railroad too.

We are working on the Appalachian & Ohio also!  Only a couple weeks to go!

A visiting PSC Rio Grande engine on the High Plains Route today.

Too bad you can't do like college kids saw Europe in the '70's, fly in, buy a vehicle, drive it while there, and sell it as you left.  Used cars are bizarrely prices now, too.  When in June...? It is June.

My son has a 4 year old that is suddenly fascinated with toy trains.   He lives just north of Denver.   

Is it possible he could buy tickets to go through the show for one day, at a price less than an arm and a leg??  They would probably only be there for two hours.

There is a general public day Saturday June 19 at 900 am doors open to the public!

We will have a Saturday only ticket for families for $20. Admission good for sales room and layouts in the Hyatt.

Ten days to go...

More layers of scenery on the Appalachian & Ohio.  While I'm busy with the Mount Union scene, the boss, David, has been making amazing progress roughing in the scenery base on the majority of the layout.  This scenery base is a HUGE visual impact!

I will see what I can do for documentation at the show.

Not sure I can do all the tour layouts since I've already worked countless hours on the High Plains Route. As far as Kevin Bacons clan those guys are I'm sure more than capable of shooting some images and videos better than I can. Lots of Uber talented people there far beyond my capabilities.
