This was one of the last of the old railroad buildings in the Ogden Utah yard. Once the reefer icing facility it had been used off and on as a cold storage facility as long as I been in Ogden. It sat unsued last few years but was full of pallets which burned nicely.
I imagine they will find the fire was caused by a homeless person trying to stay warm.

That's too bad. Sad to something like this building destroyed after all these years.
I've looked at pictures of this building many times. When I finally get around to building my layout I will have a huge PFE facility.
I have an old 1940's picture of it, figure I can model it someday as well
