I just ordered my GM Futureliners from Bob @ Dominion Models. I had called him and left a message. He returned my call and I bought 1 of each. Very nice guy to deal with. My thanks to Brian (PTC) for giving me the info. I appreciate your help.

I have one ordered. It is really something different than anything else.
#8 is under restoration here in Sweden,http://www.classicmotor.se/tagg/futurliner/
Beautiful model that should be a huge hit. You will like dealing with Bob, Spence, great service.
dang, Spence, those are going to look great on your layout!
No self respecting bus terminal should be without one. One of each?? How many are there?

Two announced so far.
Will look great on your layout, Spence. I ordered the Sound Futureliner. For many years I hoped for this model to be made in 1/43 or 1/50 scale. It flew in under the radar...luckily Brian found out about it and let us all know. Can't wait for this one.

Thanks Keith!
I got just one - the "muddle." That will be enough for me. , I hope.
None of the dealers seems to list the dimensions for these. I think about 9"L x 3"H x ?" wide. Does anyone know the dimensions?
These were at the Washington Auto Show back in January.

Those buses are a nice reminder of the days when corporate America reached out to the public at Worlds Fairs and with traveling displays. The bean counters that run the show today would probably never approve a project to build a custom fleet of buses for product marketing like that. The odd thing about them is that the top speed of these buses was only 40 mph and they went cross country stopping at 150 cities and towns !!
Well, 40 mph would be a little small, but I bet is was a lot of fun, particularly if they stuck to the back road "blue highways" as I would have, particularly if limited to 40 mph. The drivers certainly had a good position from which to observe the countryside as they passed through!
I do not see the bus on their website, Could someone furnish a link?

Dale H; It is not on the Dominion site. Call Bob @ Dominion (540-375-3750). If he doesn't answer, leave a message. he will call you back.

Did anyone actually receive their Futureliner orders yet? Everytime I check with my dealer, the arrival date keeps moving like an Atlas O C40-8W

You received the 1:43 version made by TSM???????
I know that the 1:64 versions made by Greenlight shipped earlier this year. If I had extra money lying around I would have picked up a dozen of them and put them at the back of the layout!.
