What is a PC N6A? I assume that is Penn Central, but it is obvious not a repainted PRR N6A. I don't think any of them existed by then anyway. The parts look very nice.
The N6A is the transfer caboose built for the New York Central at the Despatch shops. Used by Penn Central and later Conrail. Malcolm built a couple for me and they are "spot on". The pride of the fleet!
YAY!
Dave
great work, again.

very nice. spent a lot of time on one of these when I used to ride with the local crew when I was a kid. are they kits or scratch built?
Thank you Rick. They are scratch built.
Man, those look great...
Great build! I remember some of them sitting in the NS Roanoke VA yard waiting to go to scrap. I guess they got them in the buy out of Contrail. They also went to short lines.

Nice work (as always) Malcom
Great work! Do you spray on a gloss coat before applying decals then gloss coat over the installed decals?

I use Scalecoat II which leaves a high gloss finish for decals. Dullcote coming soon.
I have used ScaleCoat II for years. It is hard to fine out here in western Iowa so when I see it I buy it. You can thin it with paint thinner, nothing fancy.

Malcolm that sounds great. I presume you still have my address.? Also presume the tank would be mounted on the platform closest to the smoke jack.
