Pentrex To Release Program Covering The Valley Railroad's "New Haven" 3025

I'm on Pentrex's mailing list and received a notice announcing a new DVD about the Valley Railroad's former Knox & Kane SY Class 2-8-2 which has been modified to recreate a New Haven locomotive of a similar type. Based upon the description in the e-mail, it sounds as though the program will be quite thorough in its approach, discussing the locomotive's acquisition, rebuilding, modification and placement into service. Given the unusual nature of this project, I imagine it will be an interesting program to watch.

I hate to be a downer and everything, but was that really the best cover picture they could find??? Should be a nice program and all, and I've got a bit of a soft spot for that engine, having seen it at the Knox & Kane, but if that's the real cover, it's simply atrocious.

3025 is going to be the main go to engine until at least July as Engine 40 is getting tires and 97 needs her 15 years check up which has not started yet.

So If you are in CT this summer go for a ride.
