When I was ready to remove my last conventional engine from the Run Room upper level, I discovered my siding with my intermodal consist would not turn off. Since those engines are PS2, I had to fix that glitch. I knew my wiring was sound so I cleared the spaces under my Gargraves insulating pins that isolate the Two sidings that wouldn't turn off. That cleared the problem.
Out came the hot glue gun for the permanent fix of filling the gap under the insulating pin with hot glue. This seems to occur with tracks left on when operating in DCS mode. I couldn't even see the culprits with my "CSI" flashlight.
Fun and games. Now I'm running trains again (as soon as I ride the Royal Gorge Route train with the neighbor girls).
