Well I just looked over the new MTH catalog on line. It's a relief to know that since there are no American steam locos I won't have to shell out a bunch of money. Since MTH has gone to HO in a big way and European steam in O scale I feel as though we are being left behind. I have at least five Premier steam locos and a couple of RK engines and would buy more if they released something I liked. Are they writing us off? Odd-d

You guys really do not want MTH steam locomotives because there are several of them left at The Train Barn in Portage, Michigan.
the reason why there are no new american steam engines in the 2012 Vol 1 catlag is due to the backlog of engines that are in the pipeline. they have to be produced first. MTH did put the expanation in the front pages of the catalog. Just be patient--- there will be more American steamers.
